Boiled eggs are the most nutritious and tasty breakfast, especially if you are health conscious. However, eating them regularly gets boring. In this recipe, we will show you two new ways to customize your boiled eggs which makes them an enjoyable breakfast.
The dish has very negligible amount of calories and is a perfect breakfast for diabetic people like me. For those with cholesterol, it is recommended to remove the egg yolk.

Ingredients for Both Egg Recipes
- 3-4 eggs per serving
- Salt to taste
- Any neutral or flavoured oil as per your choice

If you wish to go for the tempered version:
- Curry leaves – 1 twig per serving
- Mustard Seeds
- Chilli flakes or green chillies
Recipe
- Boil the eggs in deep water for at least 10 minutes.
- Take them out and place them in cold water.
- Peel them.
- Fry the eggs in 1-2 teaspoon oil. If you like more deep fried version, go ahead.
For the tempered variant of this dish:
- Heat some oil.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of mustard seeds per serving. Add more if you like.
- Add the curry leaves.
- Add chilli flakes or slit green chillies.
- Add the boiled eggs in the oil and let them turn golden.
